What's the T?
About: What's the T?
"What's the T" is GoPride.com's transgender outreach channel that provides resources and a community to transgender individuals as well as an outlet for individuals who do not conform to traditional gender norms.

Based in Chicago, IL, "What's the T" launched in June of 2012 as part of GoPride.com's effort to service the larger LGBT community. The channel features two transgender personalities including author Ryan Sallans, an Omaha native and transgender man, as well as Kinley Preston, founder of the channel and Chicago transgender personality. The two have collected a vast network of resources for transgender men and women and plan to update and relaunch the site by bringing on new contributors and integrating social media.

The channel includes contributions by trans bloggers and personalities including, Precious Jewel, and Honey West. Honey West hosts an advice column on the channel, which answers questions for trans and non-trans individuals alike. You can find Precious' contribution through her blog "Precious Points" which is also featured on the channel.

"What's the T?" and Gopride.com continue to make the transgender community visible and accessible by allowing individuals to create their own blogs, profiles, and connections in order to strengthen their ties within the community and stay informed about transgender issues.
