"Every year, now 16 of them, this event blossoms and grows," said Andrew Arden Hayes. We have had so many wonderful LGBTQ charities and organizations that benefited from this event over the years."

Hayes, a well-known community advocate and publicist, founded OUT of the office in 2001 as a professional networking and social event. Over $50,000 has been raised by the event for many local organizations, including The Legacy Project and Gay Games Chicago.

"It is a great honor to chair this year's special 'Sweet 16' celebration with Andrew, a renowned, inspiring Chicago advocate in the LGBT community," said Kinley Preston. "I hope all of Chicago join us for what will be a fabulous evening of networking and fundraising."

Preston joins Hayes as co-chair of this year's event that will benefit Chicago House Trans Works.

New this year is a special "pre-party" VIP reception to precede the main event, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., hosted by the Chicago House Advocate Board and featuring libations, silent auction, raffle and early access to lounge seating for the party. The event runs until 8 p.m.

The planning committee, which has been working to plan and organize a night of libations and lively conversation at one of Chicago's hottest rooftop lounges, includes Sandi Robinson @ The Godfrey I/O, Samantha Powell and Christina Pinson of DreamTown Realty and Jeb Davis, Chicago House Advocate Board.

Early-bird discounts are available online through May 30 at 5 p.m. Advance tickets are required, no on-site sales will occur.

"We're pleased that this event has such a big following and always sells out," said Hayes. "As a result, we have moved all tickets to online to ensure that we can accommodate everyone interested in attending."
