From Aladdin to a Threesome, four great shows running in Chicago
There are four shows currently running Chicago to take in for theater audiences.

Strangest Things! The Musical plays off the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. For those not familiar with the science fiction show it is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the '80s. After the disappearance of a little boy some local friends go in search and discover a psychokinetic girl that helps them along in their journey.

Random Acts' premieres the musical version smartly using songs from the time period in humorous parodies. Molly Lecaptain as Juice Byers is a stand out as well as Christian Siebert in drag as Barb.

For people that don't watch the television show expect to be lost including finding their seats with smoke pumped in before the show.

This production turns out the lights on May 13 at Greenhouse Theater Center.

The second half grows more serious with a tough ending to see. There is one weak link in the cast that holds the piece back unfortunately.
