Aside from the potential of being the first woman president, Mrs. Clinton possesses the wisdom, education and EXPERIENCE to run our country! In addition to her many accolades, we would also inherit her husband Bill as our First Gentleman. Can you imagine another great eight year period of influence by these dynamic world changers!?!?

Winning by 25 points at Soldier Field the Chicago Bears advanced to the Super Bowl for the first time in 21 years with a pulsating 39-14 victory over the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship Game.

Heading back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1985, the Chicago Bears will face the winner of the AFC Championship Game between the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts.

"The most special day, so far," said Bears' principal owner, Virginia McCaskey, who is the daughter of George S. Halas, the name sake of the NFC championship trophy won today by the Bears.

Yet another great reason to love Chicago!!!

This weekend my bosom friend and Hong Kong Envoy David Beal sent me a quote that I just adore.

It is by author & humorist E. B. White:
"I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult."

Truly this is David's life and one that I desire to live as well. A healthy reminder to me that I shouldn't take life so seriously.

Notice the face!

I was walking with a friend the other day and it was clear that he was having a difficult moment. The stress of life was a bit overwhelming for him. He was trying to hold back the tears.

I pulled him aside, took both his hands and said, "Are you alright?" "It's okay for us to take a few minutes to be with each other!"

I'll tell you what, that was all the permission he needed to relax, regroup and rethink what he was stressed about. Sometimes we need to have and give that permission slip to stop and renew.
